Colts Neck Reformed Church January Schedule

The Colts Neck Reformed Church, a welcoming and affirming congregation of the Reformed Church in America, welcomes you to come and be refreshed by the Word of God, times of prayer and praise, and the community of God’s people. At the Colts Neck Reformed Church, the 9:15 a.m. worship service coordinates with church school educational opportunities for three-year-olds through seventh grade. This service contains a Gospel for Children. Professional nursery care for infants and toddlers is provided at both the 9:15 and 11:00 a.m. worship services, which are simulcast in a family room where parents can bring their infants and toddlers. Both services contain the same sermon, hymns, prayers, and special music.

Directors of Youth Ministry Announced

The Colts Neck Reformed Church is pleased to announce that Paul and Debbie Horan have come on staff as directors of youth ministry. In this world of both joy and challenge, it is important that all people are invited to consider profound and important questions such as, “What is my purpose?” and “Why am I here?” These questions are especially critical at a time of life when there is increasing independence. Rev. Scott Brown, senior minister at the church, said, “To create a safe and faith-filled place to ask and consider such questions is vital, and it plays right into Paul and Debbie’s strengths. We are pleased to have them come onboard to lead and coordinate ministry for our teenagers.” The Horans have heard God’s calling and are excited to learn, listen, and grow with the youth of the church. They have a great rapport with youth and are great ambassadors of Jesus. They will be scheduling some exciting mission trips, youth meetings, and other events. Fun will be had! To learn more, please visit the church’s website at www.coltsneckreformed.org or call Paul and Debbie directly at (732) 768-7202 or (908) 902-6625.

Annual “Sounds Of Christmas” Concert

The “Sounds of Christmas” filled the Sanctuary of the Colts Neck Reformed Church on Sunday, December 10 at 2:00 p.m. with voices, instruments, and bells performing a variety of Christmas songs. The large and enthusiastic audience got even more into the music when they were invited to participate in a sing-a-long, complete with jingle bells! This free concert is given each December by the church’s teenage handbell and vocal choirs, Celebration Ringers and Jubilation!, and the instrumental ensemble Alleluia Jazz.
