Citizens for Informed Land Use Cruises Around Sandy Hook Bay

Citizens for Informed Land Use (CILU) invites all to enjoy a sunset cruise around Sandy Hook Bay on Sunday, July 17 from 7 to 9 pm. Join the group for a spectacular sunset, and explore the history and ecology of Sandy Hook during this relaxing voyage aboard the Navesink Queen, a classic paddlewheel boat. Tour guides are insightful and enthusiastic locals with extensive knowledge of marine wildlife and Sandy Hook Bay’s rich history.

Be sure to bring your binoculars and register early, as space is limited. The cost for this outing is $41 per person. Each ticket includes a $15 donation to Save Coastal Wildlife, a nonprofit dedicated to educating the public about the preservation and protection of coastal wildlife along the Jersey Shore.

Board at the Atlantic Highlands Marina at Frank’s Pier in Slip 65, Atlantic Highlands (behind Sissy’s Restaurant). Complimentary snacks and cash bar are available. Contact Jenni at jenni@blumenthal.com or call 732-264-8482 with any questions.

CILU is a nonprofit, non-partisan 501(c)4 membership organization founded in 1998 to protect open space and natural resources in Monmouth County. You can learn more about CILU at Holmdel-cilu.org or on Facebook.
