CILU to Host Holmdel Township Administrator

Join Citizens for Informed Land Use (CILU) as the group welcomes Holmdel Township Administrator Cherron Rountree to the meeting on Monday, Jan. 24 at 7:30 pm. Rountree will describe the many duties of a township administrator, including those related to open space acquisition and maintenance. This free event will take place via Zoom.

Rountree came to Holmdel in 2019 after having served as Eatontown’s borough administrator where she was involved in the redevelopment efforts for Monmouth Mall and Fort Monmouth. She also served as Business Administrator for Rahway and worked for Union County in various capacities. Rountree was employed by the Borough of Roselle as director of Economic Development Programs/Urban Enterprise Zone Coordinator. Along with fulfilling her duties for Holmdel, Rountree currently works part time as executive director for Red Bank’s Redevelopment Agency.

Rountree earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and psychology from Rutgers University and a Master of public administration from New York University.
