Christmas Tree Arrives in Red Bank

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, the official Red Bank Christmas Tree has made its way to Riverside Gardens Park. Donated by Red Bank residents Roy and Jane Meyer, the 30-foot blue spruce traveled a short distance through town and is now in place, ready to be decked out for the holiday season.
“We are so very thankful to Roy and Jane for their generous donation,” said Jamie Edelbach, marketing manager at the Red Bank RiverCenter. “Standing tall as a focal point in downtown, this beauty is going to dazzle along the backdrop of the Navesink and bring a smile to so many faces. Knowing that it came from right here in our own community makes it all the more special.”
The excitement begins Friday, Nov. 26 when the tree will be lit in unison with the rest of the town at Red Bank’s annual Town Lighting and Holiday Express Concert. One of the most magical days of the year in Red Bank, it is truly not to be missed. Holiday Happenings will continue all through December with our Holiday Harmonies program and Elf Scavenger Hunt. As an added perk, there will be free parking in downtown Red Bank from Nov. 26 to 28 and Dec. 13 to 25.
