This Dec. 6, 13 and 20, you can capture the magic of an Old World Christmas at the Historic Village at Allaire’s Christmas At Allaire – days full of holiday cheer and the joys of Christmas past.

Stroll through the festooned village, warm up on the open hearth, help make Christmas treats, listen to the musicians, tell stories, see the Allaire Mansion preparing for a French Christmas, judge the gingerbread house contest and much more! You can even drop off your holiday cards at the Allaire Village Post Office inside the General Store. And be sure to keep your eyes out for Santa, who be available for a great photo opportunity.

All the village buildings will be spectacularly decorated for the season! You’ll also see historic sleds and various outdoor Christmas trees (with English, Scandinavian, German and French elements) on display.

The historic buildings will be open from 11 am to 4 pm, and each building will be decorated and interpreted according to a different Old World Christmas tradition.

The General Store and bakery will be open for holiday shopping. There will also be blacksmithing, wood carving, tin-smithing and other 19th century craft demonstrations throughout the day.

You can even see a replica of the Central Railroad of New Jersey’s “Blue Comet” train. When you get hungry you can treat yourself to delicious food from their Pilsen Gourmet Food Truck that will be on site.

Due to COVID-19, there are a limited number of tickets available, so get yours as early as possible. There are no tickets sales planned for the day of event.

All visitors need to practice social distancing and must wear a mask inside the historic buildings and throughout the village grounds. Please follow all directional signs and guidance from the event staff when entering the event. All guests must adhere to proper hand washing practices. Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the village. All events are rain or shine, unless otherwise noted. There will be no refunds on tickets purchased. Tickets on non-transferable.
