Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Troop 246’s leadership, BSA Monmouth Council executives, local dignitaries, family and friends recently gathered to celebrate the achievements of Stephen Baio, Conor McCormick and Frank Pinnola, who earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the Boy Scout’s highest rank. The Eagle Court of Honor ceremony was held at Elks Lodge #233 in Middletown.

“Conor, Frank, and Stephen fulfilled the vision of the Boy Scouts of America in becoming responsible, participating citizens and leaders,” said Bill Jenkins, Scoutmaster at Troop 246. “On behalf of myself and all of Troop 246, I extend our congratulations on this momentous achievement.”

Deputy Mayor Settembrino, who also is an Eagle Scout, said, “These three new Eagle Scouts make our township, state, and country a better place. We look forward to your leadership. Glad to have you join the rank of Eagle Scout, and I am looking forward to working with you in the years to come.”
