BREAKING: NJ Executive Order Signed to Increase Outdoor Gatherings to 25 People

Gov. Phil Murphy has signed an executive order, lifting the outdoor gatherings restrictions from 10 to 25 individuals.

The governor has also reopened all recreational campground, effective immediately. Murphy noted that social distancing must continue during these gatherings.

Indoor gathering limits have remained at 10 people at one time.

The governor explained that other outdoor activities that fall under this executive order are charter and fishing boats, outdoor batting cages and driving ranges, as well as other outdoor recreational businesses.

New Jersey is reporting 1,394 new positive COVID-19 cases for the last reporting period, bringing the statewide total to 152,719.
