Asbury Park Downtown Tree Lighting to be Held This Weekend
The Asbury Park Downtown Tree Lighting will be held this Saturday, Dec. 4 at 6 pm. The event will take place at Press Plaza, at the intersection of Cookman Avenue and Emory Street.
This year’s tree was donated by The Fir Farm of Colts Neck.
All are welcome to this family-friendly event, including dogs! There will be photo opportunities with Santa Claus, hot chocolate and cookies provided by The Salvation Army of Asbury Park, and students from Alphabets Preschool caroling for attendees.
All are encouraged to help support local nonprofits this holiday season by donating a new or gently used winter coat or an unwrapped toy for a child in need.
This event is hosted by the Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Jersey Central Power & Light.
