June Outreach from Colts Neck Reformed Church

The Colts Neck Reformed Church, a welcoming and affirming congregation of the Reformed Church in America, welcomes you to come and be refreshed by the Word of God, times of prayer and praise, and the community of God’s people! We worship on Sunday mornings at 9:15 and 11:00 a.m. The 9:15 a.m. worship service coordinates with our church school educational opportunities for three-year-olds through seventh grade. As such, this service contains a Gospel for Children. Professional nursery care for infants and toddlers is provided at both the 9:15 and 11:00 a.m. worship service; the worship services are simulcast in a family room where parents can bring their infants and toddlers. Both the 9:15 and 11:00 a.m. services contain the same sermon, hymns, prayers and special music. Beginning June 18th, we will switch to our Summer Worship Schedule with one service at 9:15 a.m., followed by refreshments outside, under our Ministry Center portico. Nursery care for infants is available and a summer program for 3-year-old through 3rd graders is provided. The church is located at 139 Route 537 in Colts Neck (1/4 mile west of Route 34). The Colts Neck Reformed Church held its 14th Annual Handbell Concert on Sunday evening, April 30th. This free concert featured 55+ ringers of all ages who are members of the Handbell program at CNRC. This program is in its 17th year and supports five bell choirs – Echo Ringers, Joyful Ringers, Celebration Ringers, Morning Bells, and Exultation Ringers. All the groups rehearse weekly and ring routinely in worship on Sunday mornings; and they also participate in outreach, sharing their bell ringing with area senior centers, hospitals, and assisted living facilities. This year’s theme was “Bach, Beethoven…and the Beatles” and the enthusiasm was evident as the choirs rang tunes from the Beatles including “Here Comes the Sun”, “Help”, “Yellow Submarine”, and “All You Need is Love”.
