Pie Eating Contest at Monmouth County Fair

On your mark, get set, eat! A splendidly messy pie-eating contest will be held on the last day of the Monmouth County Fair, Sunday, July 30. This messy but delicious contest uses pies donated by Wemrock Orchards. Children age 12 and under will compete at 1 p.m. and ages 13 and up at 1:15 p.m. Those interested can register inside the Home & Garden tent starting at 11 a.m. Winners take home a trophy.

Held at East Freehold Showgrounds, Kozloski Road, Freehold from Wednesday-Sunday, July 26-30, the Fair also offers family fun with 4-H exhibits, rides, entertainment, home and garden competitions, opening night fireworks, and more!  Fair hours are 5-11 p.m. on Wednesday-Friday, July 26-28; 3-11 p.m. on Saturday, July 29; and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday, July 30.  Admission is $8 per person; children 12 and under are free.
